I suppose the NAS will not even boot up? In that case, I assume I’ll have to buy a new NAS but my worry is that it’s not as simple as sticking the 4 (assumed-perfectly fine) HDD (in the same order) into the new NAS & hope the SHR2 volume gets adopted? My other worry is that the new NAS will wipe the old HDDs when it is setup. Please correct me if my assessment is inaccurate.įor scenario #1, I dunno how to recover if it’s not a hard disk failure. Noticeably, my Plex Media Server folder is left out of the tasks. & currently a hyper backup task is scheduled to back up certain (not all) Shared Folders.
